Don't think I've seen this here before but it raised a smile. The video's good as well - especially the ad on the side of the trailer.....

As one of the comments in the article says, it's not the technology that's caused the problem, it's the idiot using it!

Hi Sam,
I agree with that sentiment. There's a very narrow cobbled thoroughfare, in Whitby, called the Donkey path which is extremely steep, more than one in three gradient, and some satnavs try to send drivers down it. Now it clearly states on a sign that the path is not suitable for motor vehicles yet some idiots ignore that and attempt to drive down! Obviously the sat nav knows better than the sign according to some :D ,

I live just a mile or so from where that happened. It has happened a couple of times at least in this area!

Some vehicles fitted with Sat Nav have been known to have a faulty nut - and it usually turns out to be the one sitting behind the steering wheel!

Perhaps the Sat Nav makers should add a note to the instructions.
