Hi all buying insurance and for my needs this company is the cheapest, it has beat the caravan club on the same terms by almost £80.
I was wondering if any one as any dealings with the same.

http://www.cover4car...n_insurance.php

I tried towergate bakers they wouldnt touch me without the alko wheel lock. regardless of any other security i have sas security etc.

Hi,have used this company for several years and always found them efficient.
Having said that , I have never had to make a claim, but I would not anticipate a problem if I had to (gut instinct !!)
Why not give them a try?
Cheers Mike R

I am also with them and am very happy. I have seen postings on forums from people who have been insured with them and made a claim. It appears that they were satisfied with the way they were treated.

We are also with cover4. We recently added the awning and they id not charge us any extra. We find them quick and polite on the telephone and they do have the same terms & conditions as amny other caravan insurers. We have not made a claim but have read that others had not had a problem. Go for it as it will save you money in the long run.

I Have insured the van with them now... i didnt have any NCD(No claim Discounts) because i havent owned a van myself.. i always used a family members caravan. with this company they mirrored the NCDs with my car which was a factor for my cheapest quote.

Thanks again all.

Like you I used them in year 1. The CC came in cheaper in year 2 with the NCD applied. Shop around next year you may find something cheaper for the same level of cover.

My first year insurance with them (£9000 cover, £100 excess) only cost £139 :)

It like all these things
-- there are loads cheaper than others
-- and some which are very expensive
-- you may never have claimed in years - if at all
-- it is only when you go to make a claim that you find out if the "cheapest" is the best.

paying out XXX£'s for years does seem expensive if you don't make a claim though.

Our insurance is due shortly so I went online to get a quote from them. I thought about putting a fake phone number like I usually do but thought I'd better not as if they were good I might be doing business with them. The quotes came back at £150 or £185; Cc are asking about £200 so I thought I'd stay with them. Within five minutes I had a phone call from Cover4 caravans - told OH I didn't want to speak to them so be warned!

Be warned that they'll phone you! Not all of us want these unsolicited calls. If I'd wanted to speak to them I'd have phoned them myself.
