Hi is Devon too far? I'm off to a nice little site in Newton Abbot. They have hardstands (ideal for us, didn't fancy a grass pitch this time of year) and the toilet facilities are good, also have an onsite shop. We like it hear as its very close to Trago Mills for a day out, also not too far from Torquay/Teignmouth. I rang last week and they still had pitches available. Worth a try maybe? PM me if you want the details http://www.caravantalk.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif .

Yes Devon is a little to far for me as I need to be within my home base to get my work trailer because I have work during the week.
I looked somewhere more local but other than my "very" local site Rutland caravan and camping, Nothing else was available.
Ideally around the Nottingham area would suit as this is my area of work next week, my mum lives in north notts and I could of left my trailer their.
This is always the problem with my job, I tend to be all over the place and with me needing the trailer and caravan if I go away, there is an obvious issue.
Thanks for all the links though guys, some of the Dorset ones look really good. I love it down their.

We were there this weekend as well but in a friends static. Wondered around the touring field and it looked pretty quiet. Looking forward to next week as it will be the first outing this year.

Cheers

Believe it or not, last time we were there, a murder had been committed during the night about 100 yards from the site .

We need to send a few more missionaries down there from up in the North country to educate the Southerners how to behave :D , perhaps then the violent crime figures for the country will fall.
