The high level brake light on my Fleetwood 470EB is not working, does anyone know how to check them and change them if necessary. Also where can you get a new one if it is needed?

Thanks in advance

Most high level brake lights are LED so I would look for a bad connection if the other lower brake lights are working .

I had my Fleetwood Meridien serviced by a mobile service engineer, when he put the light box on to check all lights MY centre stop light did not work,
as soon as I connected the car up everything worked ok he had a fault in his box. The light unit is sealed, as Dave says it could be a faulty contact. TWC

The rear brake light needs a decent voltage to work, this is why the mobile engineers box did not make it work but the car did.First check the black connector. The RRBL is a sealed unit but the connections are behind the right light cluster. Look for this black wires crimped on the thicker wires. If the light is actually failty then you can cut the silicone away and carefully cut the wires and fit another with crimps. I am of course assuming there is no broken wire and if there is then theres no way of routing another wire in the back panel.
